National Voter Registration Day

National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is a national holiday celebrating our democracy and encouraging civic participation. Join in celebrating NVRD the entire week of September 24 – 28 at all five of our branches: Appling, Bacon, Clinch, Pierce, and Ware.

Register to vote or check your registration status at the library between 9/24 and 9/28 and receive library credit which can be used on Okefenokee Regional Library System fines and services such as printing, copying, faxing, or 3D printing.

This credit is only good at Okefenokee Regional Library System libraries and will expire 9/23/2019. You can get $1.00 in library credit for checking your registration and showing library staff that you’re registered and your registration information is up-to-date. If you need to update your information or register to vote, show library staff your completed registration and you can receive $2.00 in library credit.
