Zoo Atlanta Family Pass

Check out the DVD for 7 days, no holds or renewals. Watch the DVD and then return it to the library and receive a signed receipt pass. This signed receipt must be given to Zoo Atlanta staff at the gate. A PINES card may also be required.

Zoo Atlanta Family Pass – Adults with a valid library card from any branch of a participating public library system throughout the state of Georgia (excluding the Auburn Avenue Research Library in Atlanta), may access the Zoo Atlanta Family Pass. Pass is valid for four. Valid for general admission only and may not be used for fee-based events or programs. One pass is available for checkout at each participating branch. DVD must be checked out at the library front desk. Return the DVD to the desk, where you will receive a receipt. Please save the receipt, as this is what you will use for Zoo admission. Pass may be checked out only once per year, per card, per household. Pass may not be renewed or reserved. If this DVD is lost or damaged, a $30 replacement fee, in addition to any processing fees and overdue fines, will be charged by the library system. The pass is good for seven days from the date of the receipt showing the return of the DVD. Not valid with any other discount, offer or promotion; may not be redeemed for cash.


Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites Pass

Annual ParkPass – All vehicles parked on a Georgia State Park must display a ParkPass. Not valid at State Historic Sites, the Chattahoochee River NRA, Jekyll Island, Lake Lanier Islands or Stone Mountain Park. The ParkPass must be displayed from the vehicle’s rearview mirror and is transferable between vehicles registered to one household.

Georgia Historic Sites Family Pass – Up to 4 visitors in possession of this pass will be admitted at no charge to any historic site operated by Georgia State Parks, Recreation & Historic Sites. Pass holders may be required to show identification. Pass holders are subject to all site rules and regulations.

This pass is valid only for general admission; it is not valid for events, program fees, or audio tours. The Michael C. Carlos Museum reserves the right to limit redemption of this pass to once per quarter.

The Governor’s Energy Challenge has partnered with the Georgia Public Library Services to offer Georgia residents an opportunity to measure the energy consumption of appliances throughout their home and to take steps to reduce their electricity consumption and lower their utility bills. The Kill-A-Watt unit is compatible with any electrical outlet and is used to assess both the efficiency and the actual consumption of standard home appliances. The LCD display measures consumption by the Kilowatt-hour and can be used to estimate the cost of running each appliance for a day, week, month or year.
