In celebration of National Library Week, the Okefenokee Regional Library System is promoting a Fine Free Week from Monday, April 14th until Saturday, April 19, 2014. During that week only, late or damaged OKRLS books, DVDs, and CDs can be returned and all overdue fines for these items will be forgiven. While overdue fines will be waived for damaged materials that are returned, cardholders may still be charged for the damage.
To take advantage of the Fine Free Week, patrons can return OKRLS items in person–not in a book drop–to any OKRLS library in Appling, Bacon, Clinch, Pierce, or Ware counties from April 14 – 19, 2014.
For more information about Fine Free Week, call your local OKRLS library; check out the library’s Facebook page or website at www.okrls.org.
