After receiving confirmation, bring your costumed car to the library on Saturday, May 6th between 10 a.m. and 12 noon and inform the front registration desk. Judging will commence at noon.

CONTEST PERIOD: Contest begins at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on May 6, 2017 and ends at 11:59 a.m. ET on May 6, 2017 (“Contest Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: The Okefenokee Regional Library System (OKRLS) Car Costume Contest (“Contest”) is open to legal residents of Appling, Bacon, Clinch, Pierce, and Ware Counties, Georgia. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older on May 6, 2017 with any legally owned, registered and insured Class 1, two-axle vehicle (car, light truck, van, motorcycle). Employees and their immediate family members (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, of OKRLS are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and/or OKRLS, which are binding and final on matters relating to this Contest. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
TO ENTER: To enter, visit okrls.com/ccc and follow the directions to complete and submit the registration information. Registration info must be submitted by email or in person by May 4th. Entrants must bring vehicle to the designated area at the Waycross-Ware County Public Library (401 Lee Avenue, Waycross, GA 31501) on May 6, 2017 by 12 noon ET. Limit one (1) entry per person.
By submitting an entry, entrant represents and warrants that the entry conforms to these Official Rules and understands that OKRLS, in its sole discretion, may disqualify the entry for any reason, including if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the entry fails to conform to these Official Rules in any way or otherwise contains unacceptable content as determined by OKRLS, in its sole discretion.
PHOTO RELEASE: By submitting an entry, entrant hereby grants to OKRLS a nonexclusive license to reproduce, distribute, display, and/or transmit photos of the entry in connection with this Contest and the advertising and promotion thereof, in any manner or media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity for advertising, promotional and other purposes, without further compensation, notification or permission. Entrant agrees that Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for any unauthorized use of entries by third parties. OKRLS has no obligation to make use of the rights granted herein.
JUDGING: All eligible entries received by OKRLS will be judged by a jury of judges based on the following equally weighted criteria: quality, creativity, and resourcefulness (“Judging Criteria”), to determine up to three (3) top entries. Winners will be determined on May 6, 2017, and announced the same day by 4:00 p.m. ET.
OKRLS reserves the right to select fewer than three (3) winners /or none at all if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries. OKRLS will not reveal the judging scores or votes for any entry.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified onsite during the 3:30 p.m. final announcements or by phone if entrant is not present at the announcements. Entrant may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and a publicity release within three (3) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules, the prize will be forfeited and, at OKRLS’s discretion, an alternate winner selected.
PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded according to rank determined by Contest judges. All prizes are non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Awarding of prize is subject to winner signing OKRLS’s standard terms and conditions and failure to sign the agreement will result in forfeiture of the prize.
PUBLICITY GRANT: Each winner, by acceptance of prize, grants permission for OKRLS and its designees to use his/her name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, in any manner and with any materials, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval.
RELEASE: Entrants, by participating, agree that OKRLS and its sponsoring agencies, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Contest or from the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) or participation in this Contest.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, or stolen entries, or for other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors, difficulties, damages, or thefts which may occur in connection with creating the costume, modifying entrant’s vehicle, traveling to and from the Contest site, displaying vehicle in the designated area, or the administration of the Contest, the processing or judging of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Contest-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants’ or to any other person’s vehicle related to or resulting from participating in this Contest. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Contest or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by OKRLS, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. OKRLS reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries or votes (as applicable) deemed fair and appropriate by OKRLS.
